City of Heroes

Has anyone played City of Heroes. It's pretty cool. You create your own Superhero, design their costume,and select their powers. Then you go kick some badguy tail in the city. You can also make a super group with your friends.

 

No thanks. I know people who play it. I can't grasp the whole concept. Read an interview with the creator, he went on a morality rant, and that just tuned me out. I don't need a good and evil teaching from a video game. You don't die and you don't kill things. You just acquire debt and you "arrest" them. To each his own, I guess. Not really my cup of tea, but hope you are having fun, because that's all that matters.

it's an interesting idea, but i have yet to get into the MMORPG scene. there's supposed to be city of villains coming out or maybe an add-on or something that lets you play as a bad guy, i think. might open up some possibilities.

I've got a bunch of characters on the Justice server, a couple on Champion and one each on Virtue and Infinity.

Addicting game.

 

Cool. My friends and I are on the Pinnacle server. We have a supergroup and play most evenings. If you want some more info let me know. We could always use another person, especially a tank or defender. My friends and I use Teamspeak, which makes it nice. The game is alot more fun playing with real life friends too.

 

Pinnacle, eh? What names? I can throw together a defender to hang with y'all when I'm not busy showing up the hubby on Justice or fangirling over Ascendant's hilarious phonecall routines on Virtue.

 

My character's name is Short Circuit. I am on most nights. Just send me a tell in game and tell me you are the chick from TBR,lol.
