    Could it not be that those in Africa who are circumsized are also religious and therefore do not sleep around as much? I have heard that many of the ones who are circumsized are also muslim.

    I think it could be true to some degree that being circumsized helps. Fluid trapped in there might prolong your exposure. I can not believe however that it is as dramatic as that study suggests.

    I'd imagine that the inside of the penis head on some of those uncut natives in Africa go months at a time without getting rubbed by a bar of soap.

    Lovely image there, probably true though. In this country I bet the difference would be much smaller if there is any difference at all. I suppose it would give more chance for there to be skin tear or something that might let the virus in easier. Bottom line though, don't screw around but use a rubber if you do.
