    when mort was asked for the names of some of the top assistants up for jobs this morning, he didn't put chud among the top 6.

    I don't think that means anything. One reason I think Jacksonville will choose Chud is that he developed a young quarterback and their top priority is to get something out of Gabbert. Then again, I guess you could say the same thing about Mularkey since he got there with Ryan.

    I don't know if it was that bad, but Buffalo definitely left a bad taste. I wouldn't hire him as a head coach.

    Chud seems to be getting the most love from Jax and Miami. Tampa wants a veteran coach after going the Raheem route.

    San Diego will also be in play if they decide to dump Norv Turner. In fact, they may be deciding between keeping Turner or offering Chud right now.
