Damn. I've always thought he was a tough kid, and the way he went down on that series, I thought something was really wrong (though I was thinking concussion), and he would be pulled out of the game for his safety. I was shocked to see him come back on.

Hopefully, being taken to the hospital is the worst part of it and he'll get better soon.

PeterKing just refuted the Observer report - said he is NOT in critical condition.

    Damn. I hate that.

I thought it was just dehydration when he first got woozy. Same after Peppers laid him out on the second down play. He looked awful, and by awful, I mean sick. He kept looking back to the sideline on that third down play, I thought for sure Gruden would let him take a Time Out.

NBC just quoted Bucs GM as saying Pat is a headline chasing bastard, that he's not critical. FWIW.

spleen was my first thought. I know Al Wallace rocked Simms one good time. cant remember if was before or after he went out the first time.

The person who posted the spleen thing on the Buc's board claimed to have called the hospital for the information. That sounds fishy to me.

So Pat's source is the buc board?

All "jooking" aside, I hope he's ok.
