Anyone see him almost break Anthony Carters ankles with a double cross over dribble last night? AC got schooled.

Yeah, I sure am glad the Bobcats played hard at the end of that year. Those wins over Atlanta and New Orleans are really paying dividends now.

All they had to do was rest the starters in the very last game of the season against the Pistons who were resting there starters because they had clinched already....Damn that really fucked this team up....

Can you imagine CP3, JRich and Crash??????????????

    Basically.

It hurts me that we were one spot away from Dwight Howard too (when the NBA should have just given us the #1 pick) but at least we went from 4 to 2 with a good trade.

There was no reason for us to be picking behind Atlanta, Utah and New Orleans, but thanks to some meaningless wins in the last two weeks of the season that's exactly where we ended up. Frankly I guess we were lucky to get a PG at all, although Sam Vincent might argue we didn't get a PG after all.

edit: At the time though, I have to admit I liked Felton just about as much as I did Paul, and liked both over Deron Williams. So I was pretty happy with the pick. I still would have rather had Paul.

even with the higher pick, bickerstaff might have gone the same way. wasn't he picking guys sort of with the eye towards proven winners? like felton, may, okafor -- all dudes who won national championships, right?

That's true. Some dumbass in Atlanta decided to choose generic SF #4 when they had their choice of PGs and that's exactly what they needed.

Thank God they did or we would have been stuck with Marvin.

Geez, thanks for that dose of reality.

I just gained an all-new appreciation for Raymond Felton.

No way Bickerstaff would have taken Felton over Paul. Paul ate Felton up in college and was clearly the player with more potential.
