    is that it's not a done deal with the gators. apparently, it's a fixable prolem with the tar heels -- where he really wants to go.

    been reading warchant.com? Why would Chris Leak say he was going to UF but he really wants to go to UNC? I think if he wanted to go to UNC he would have said it. Maybe UNC is uping their 'ante'

    I've been in the carolinas long enough to know that until the day he either graduates from UF or enters the draft, dillusional tar heel fans will still think he's going to transfer to UNC

    I don't consider "Tarheels suck" an easily fixable problem.

    They were never even listed as a school he was considering.

    Depends on what you read. I saw an article where he was indeed considering UNC. Don't remember where I read it, though.

    I remember that UNC wasn't a front-burner consideration, so that makes sense.

    unc is where he's wanted to go.

    bunting wasn't recruiting him at all because he thought chris was going to tennessee. once he saw that chris soured on the vols, he got involved. bunting called him up last thursday and they talked. apparently, leak asked what his PT prospects were and bunting told him the "if you get into our system and redshirt, i think that in a couple of years you could challenge for a starting spot" crap. leak got pissed and committed to the gators.

    from what fsu people have said (no, i dont need warchant -- i've got better sources) fsu isn't in the running, but the problem with unc is fixable. they just need to show him the love. leak was put off that he wasn't even recruited by unc. if bunting kisses a lot of leak ass, he could get him.

    Bunting should be fired right this very minute if thats true. You dont have the number one QB in the nation in your home state and not make a call or any effort to get him. If was a UNC alum and heard this, I would be livid.
