I think that's the part he's focusing on.

Only problem is while Felton may not be top 5 he could easily be gone by like the 8th pick. So you have to decide to I take the risk and draft him a little high, or chance trading down and him not being there 2 or 3 picks later. That's if he's a target. I'll agree he's not really top 5, but he's close enough you have to consider the gamble.

There's no way the Bobcats pass on Chris Paul to take Charlie Villanueava. I don't care how much he might like Villanueva, Bernie has enough of a basketball mind to know that Chris Paul fills a MUCH larger need.

Then you could as easily say Jason Peter and it be relevant. I made the Mashburn comparison based on actual play and effort.

you could, but he was referring to basketball, and while admittedly most people here would know Jason Peter, not all would considering this is a basketball forum. He compared Villanueva to Coleman's sloth like attitude when it came to playing on the court. The fact that he has all the talent in the world, but seldom shows up and uses it. That was the implication.

Lately my thoughts have been that if Bogut goes #1 to Milwaukee, that Charlotte will make a heavy push to Atlanta to trade up and get Marvin Williams.

Atlanta will want 5 & 13, which is not what Bernie wants to do. At least for the 3rd pick. I guess he might think it's worth it for the 2nd pick.

I don't know, Atlanta may be willing to part with the 2nd for the 5 and the future Toronto pick.

I'm more than aware of what he was implying. I didn't find it as relevant.

I also wouldn't say "seldom shows it" like Coleman. He's not that type player, he's inconsistent not outright lazy.

Works for me. Then Atlanta could take Felton at 5, they need a PG
