"We've flirted with Duke, but they want to play at the Coliseum. We might actually do that if the dates would work out, just because of what they've done. At the same we have a great arena here and we love to play in front of our students as much as possible. They want to do it just on their terms," said Lutz with a laugh. "If it fits with us, because we have to do what's best for us too, then I think that could happen."

    Slim to none....

those pussies at duke will never play in Halton. a game at the arena would basically be a home game for puke

...but regardless, i would LOVE to see that game happen!

nope, duke doesn't have alot of fans that would come out. duke is probably smarter to try and play at the coliseum. 95% of the time, lazy fucking charlotte fans can't even get to the arena on campus, what makes anybody think they'd actually leave campus.

on a side note here, you can call duke pussies all you want. You think that anybody really cares what charlotte COULD have done against duke when duke is contending for a national title and charlotte is sitting at home after the first round. Again.

The last Davidson-Duke game in Charlotte drew 11,753 so Duke isn't exactly a huge draw in Charlotte. As for the students not coming to the games, I'll concede the point to you. Why 4,500 students won't spend 2-1/2 hours in Halton is beyond me, especially with the seats they are able to get (and cost me dearly). Season ticket sales are roughly the same as they've been for the past 5-6 years. I can probably name 20 season ticket holders who are traveling 50+ miles to and from games and someone won't walk across campus.

I went when I could but I worked a lot. Widdy, you can rag them on not having a huge fan support, but the dook game would sell out in minutes and K knows that. It is a tuff place to play. I wish UNC would play them there, but since they won't I can call my own team pussies. Can you?
