    Sorta early to be talking about this, but the Bracketology folks at ESPN already have a simulated bracket up (2 weeks old) that predicts how the tourney will be according to results so far. It will change thru-out the season. Right now they have the conference breakdown going like this:
    Big East: 7
    ACC: 6
    Big Ten: 6
    SEC: 6
    Big 12: 5
    Atlantic 10: 3
    C-USA: 3
    Horizon: 2
    Miss. Valley: 2
    M-West: 2
    Pac-Ten: 2
    West Coast: 2

    I don't really sweat bracketology that is 2 weeks old. It is all conjecture right now, but the big 10 has fallen off considerably since that bracket was created.

    The A-10 has a record of 14-33 against the Big 6. They aren't gonna get five bids and I don't care what the RPI says, they aren't a better conference than the SEC which has four ranked teams, or the Big 10 which finally won the ACC-Big 10 challenge. Maybe the Pac-10 this year, but don't get your hopes up for five bids. Four will be a surprise.

    What has happened to the Pac. Ten? UCLA is 5-7? Herb Sendek's team may take it this year.
