Charlotte vs Clemson

Yeah but it's like Parcells said, you are what you are. Charlotte is a 1-3 team that hasn't played anyone. Good teams win close games.

 

They just weren't particularly good sports. Things like booing elderly people, and just general harrasment. This was after the game. Like I said, I got told by a girl that she hoped I wrecked and died on the way home. I got booed by a group of guys at halftime, but they were just being funny. Overall though, it made me lose some respect that I had, and I don't think I'll be going to many more games this year as a fan of Charlotte.

 

This is not a defense of our fans, because I hate crap like that, but have you been to many away basketball games?

When we went to Cincy, I had a group of fans gather around me and start taunting me. Being the idiot I am, I got right back up in their faces and asked them when the last time they drove 8 hours to support their team? They backed off after that, and most UC fans were generally nice.

RIchmond fans were horrible, telling me that they hoped our team's bus crashed on the way home. This was after they blew us out. As if anything could make me feel worse than being in Richmond after getting blown out by the spiders.

App State fans pelted us with trash the entire game. And their AD said if we turned around or said anything to them, we would be removed. Awesome!

George Washington fans were pretty neutral, mostly just laughing at us and telling us our program sucks as we left.

Regardless, fans of most programs are horrible.

 

I've been to a few away games to places like South Carolina, Ga Tech and Georgia. I don't remember any of them being bad. I guess it was just bad to me since I normally am a Charlotte fan, and I was with a Charlotte fan. Good natured ribbing is expected and entertaining. If you are going to wish evil on people, you could at least say good game too.

On a different note, the kid with the whiteboard over by the band, might be the biggest nerd I've ever seen.

 

I've only been to Carolina as a football fan, and that was to watch the Gators destroy them once again.

Their fans never had anything to say.

Bring Bama back to Halton. We need to avenge that triple OT loss from a couple of years ago. That was a great game!.
