    Spiders, Cougars or Bobcats.

    I gotta go with Spiders simply because I think Cougars and Bobcats are used by middle schools.

    Oh and Richmond, do you really think people will get an NBA team name / games schedule etc confused with your University basketball program?

    I went with Cougars but, Spiders is a very , very close second and wouldn't be disappointed either way.

    Out of these 3 I like the Spiders the best, but I still like the Dragons from the other thread!

    I dont like any of those. Hope some of the "still in contention" are better.

    Thanks for the link Brain.....the way I read that is there are still some other considerations, but these 3 were among the remaining names.

    Just please don't let it be the bobcats.

    I thought I wouldn't change my vote, but I just jumped on the Spiders bandwagon . . . . Get someone from MARVEL or DC COmics to design the logos & color scheme . . . . I seriously doubt that folks would confuse us with a lower Division 1 hoops program from Virginia :rolleyes: :rolleyes: . .

    this is the topic on Sports Night tonight...hate to be a shameless pug artist, but would love to hear what you guys think, and sds, I am going to salute the TBR folks with my pen on the set tonight...just be watching at the end of the show.....and be thinking K-Mart.....
