Hey guys and girls, sorry this is not a sports specific question but a couple of my co-workers and I are coming to Charlotte Oct 7-10 for a firefighter school and I was wondering if you guys could recommend some things.

    Bars
    Restaurants
    Sports
    Music

Just whatever you guys think that are "must do's" while in Charlotte would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

    Jeff

HP you ought to move this to rant & rave - the guy will never get an answer here. Of course he'll never get a straight answer over there so he's screwed either way.

I'll ask it over there, I just thought this forum got more traffic. No big deal.

Where are you staying Jeff? If you're going to be uptown, you'll have lots of decent placing to eat & drink within walking distance. Otherwise, you're going to be needing transportation to go anywhere decent.

MKNiner could probably give you some in-depth reviews of the gay scene around Charlotte.

If MK can't then Metro sure can.

How sad is it that noone could think of one must-do thing in Charlotte.
