i really think we'll need a silasesque coach down here for our first few seasons- someone who's patient, knows his players limitations, and knows how to respect and demand respect. however, we also need a coach with a winning attitude- who doesnt just accept losing, something that i think is silas' weak spot- he settles for good, instead of great, at times.

Riddel, in regard to Lenny - you need to talk to some of the players that have "played" for him. His teams are usually unprepared and undisiciplined. Ask Oakley. Or Keon Clark. Seriously.

I like Silas MUCH more than Lenny. Lenny won ONE title - with Marvin Webster, Sikman, Freddie Brown (hey, wasn't Silas on that team?)...

Lenny is far past his prime. Given the choice, I'd take Silas.

If I had to have a college coach, it would be Coach K. And I am not a Duke fan. Otherwise, don't discount Kenny Gattison, presently an assistant at his alma mater, Old Dominion, with a 2nd year new coaching staff.

    John Thompson, Head Coach
    Kenny Gattison, Direct Replacement
    Chuck Person, Assistant Coach
Melvin Watkins, Assistant Coach (will need a job by then, as Texas A&M is going nowhere in hoops)
