Nice finish, although I worry a little about too much feel-good bullshit for preseason games.

On the other side, I wonder if we are better off with Keiser starting than Hardy. Hardy has done jack shit for over a year now. At least Keiser has his flashes.

Most think he doesn't have enough bulk to be and every down 4-3 DE and playing the run will wear him down making him less effective as a pass rusher. I think he could be just fine getting 20 snaps a game at DE. They could use Hardy as the 3-4 DE. I also think Keiser could play OLB in 3-4.

for our purposes he can play 3-4 OLB. He's crafty, I don't know he'll ever be incredible, but he's just now where he would've been drafted had he made the smarter decision to stay (though, being with a team, he did earn time, and would never have been a 1st or 2nd day pick so who knows). So the sky might not be the limit, but he can grow. He just has a knack for making things happen.

I think Keiser and Hardy are both well suited to being impact subs at DE, but it's fair to suggest that of the two Hardy is more physically prepared to handle a high number of snaps.

The Carolina Panthers are a professional American football team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Panthers, along with the Jacksonville Jaguars, joined the NFL as expansion teams in 1995.
