ooooh that's not bad... because if they're graduating their losing their elligability anyways... they've put in 4 years for the team... if the NCAA would allow it, its a pretty good idea

Nice in theory, but y'all know as well as I do if that idea were instituted, then no university would show a profit for their b-ball program again - ever.

I won't even beat the "your degree is your bonus" dead horse. :)

ah but if that could go into effect they could start marketing players too... in the past when there was a jersey they couldn't add a players name, but they could now and charge more... even if that player is a sophmore... basically saying that if/when you graduate you can get a piece of the pie we made selling this

Im part of the MTV generation (like it or not). Does that mean that's the appropriate dress for me at work? At a formal event for work? Then it shouldnt be for these guys whose job is playing basketball & going to class either.

They dressed like they didnt care because they didnt. They dont have any respect for Doh, and apparently not the University AD office. If that had been Dean or similar, they would have shown up in tuxes.

    What an apologist.

Don't get me wrong... they COULD have dressed better, but you won't find a LOT of college campuses where people are dressed like that to go to college... UNCC included I remember when I went there I dressed how I WANTED and most other people did too... now if they were going to an interview of some sort I'd understand, but the way I understood it, it was just any old day when the picture was taken... if you are a part of the MTV generation you know I'm right... BTW 80s MTV generation doesn't count.

The dress is mostly a sign of the times. There may still be a few coaches out there that require their kids to be dressed in suits and ties all the time but I doubt it.

It really is shocking tho that Doherty didn't require the players to dress up for his public lynching.

I agree that the picture looks bad but I'm more concerned about the players cry baby attitudes than how they are dressed.
