Cars kicks ass

Traffic wasn't bad at all. We didn't have to stop for anything put stoplights the whole way.

The movie was originally scheduled to start at 9:15 by LMS reckoning. It started at 10:00pm.

Whipass movie. No doubt about it.

The pre-movie festivities were another matter.

 

The "race" exhibition wasn't too bad and Brad Paisley was entertaining and the fireworks were good but I agree, the rest of the pre-movie activities were long and boring and hard to see from where I was.

 

Paisley can slap play a guitar. I had no idea. He must have brought his own sound crew, 'cause Party on the Moon and Chuck Berry got shafted big time by the LMS sound people. Somebody needs to be fired for that shit.

And somebody up there needs to get freakin grip when the CD music fucks up and plays the last 30 seconds of 'Green River' 50 times. I'm not exaggerating.

 

Yeah poor Chuck got screwed by the sound guys. By the time he got on the people around me could have cared less.
