That's true. You get it by being a great recruiter and dominating a sub-par conference.

 

WTF? Every team loses. I certainly still believe we are the favorite to win it all. I never for one second believed we would go undefeated doing it. As long as we beat dook twice I will be happy.

i really didnt think we'd go undefeated either. in this day and age it is nearly impossible. i started this thread at halftime of the maryland game on saturday at which point our guys in blue looked shitty. they've looked shitty lately, and to be ranked #1, extremely shitty. you could see this loss coming from a few weeks back. for them to win it all, they'll need someone to take up the slack when teams colapse on hansbrough. up to this point, secondary leadership has been sporatic at best. sometimes its ellington or green or lawson, keyword being sometimes. and as for their defense? for a #1 team? not even close.

nobody wants to see them win more than me. i'd like to see less pre-game dancing and more defensive intensity during the game. its time to cut the crap and get down to business if they're really serious about making a run at this thing. maybe the loss at home to maryland will wake them up and light a fire under their collective asses. we shall see.

 

BTW, American beat Maryland earlier in the season.
