I expect a close game in the 1st half and one that is physical, i think UNC wins by 9 to 12 pts.....79-70 or something like that. A preemptive congrats to the UNC fans on the National Championship.

LOL...The news last night was showing all these people going out and buying UNC gear. I bet they're re-stocking the shelves today. I'm glad I went out and got mine early Saturday.

 

Im sick of hearing about the economy of Michigan.The whole country is suffering not just them.Who cares about their fans? Its amazing so many have lost their jobs but can buy tickets. Guess that taxpayer bailout money is helping to continue to pay those union paychecks and those unemployment checks are being put to good use.Fans dont play so forget them.We will match their intensity and once that has worn off for them we should run them out of the building.Dont take your foot of the gas and run for 40 minutes.

 

Bilas, Davis, Digger, and Vitale are all picking UNC. Hubert made a good point on Mike&Mike this morning - Against Villanova, UNC had 12 turnovers, missed 15 free throws, only shot 40% from the field and still scored 83 points. UNC should play better this game, so Mich State will have to play the best game of the season for them to have a chance to win. Suton didn't have a good game against UConn because of foul trouble, so we'll see if he can handle Hansbrough, Davis, and Thompson down low without getting early fouls tonight.

UNC by 12, but the game won't feel that close.

Anyone else think it was a little odd seeing the full UNC team on the court after the semifinals? Is that something that CBS is doing now? It was just like the NC celebration but obviously they haven't done that yet. Did I miss Michigan State's team on the court between games?


Everything points to UNC being crowned champion tonight but there is still a game to play.

 

Ever been to Detroit? Yeah, it sucks everywhere, but Detroit really sucks. I heard something like 23% unemployment here. That's a lot. Coming from an area where the unemployment rate is below 6% - this has a third world country feel... They're hurting here, but Mich State is in the Championship game. 'Nova and Uconn fans are selling their tickets fairly cheap. There have been a lot of people leaving yesterday and today.

 

I thought Mich State stayed on the court a long time after their game. I didn't notice any type of celebrations or anything with either of the two teams. There were a lot of interviews, though. The entire UConn and 'Nova teams were nearly gone, however. There were 40 minutes between the games, so that was plenty of time to get everyone off the court for the teams to warm up before the second game.
I never thought about it before, but it was funny to see them bring out 2 ladders and clean the backboard with windex before the second game...

 

I saw that on TV. I wondered why that guy was setting up a ladder.
