Carolina-Michigan State

What are your thoughts going into the National Championship Game? It is going to be a zoo atmosphere in favor of the Spartans. Reports are that thousands of Uconn fans are dumping tickets to Michigan State supporters. That's not a surprise but it will give them a big advantage. Michigan State is playing great ball right now as are the Heels.

 

I can't imagine there being more State fans than were there yesterday, but if there really are, it's going to be overwhelming. UNC played well on the road this year, so it's probably not as big of an advantage as the State fans hopes it's going to be. Michigan State has been playing very physically, so as long as Hansbrough and Green can stay out of foul trouble, then it should be a good game. We're sitting beside some really nice State fans, but there are some Tar Heel fans behind us that are super obnoxious and were not nice to the 'Nova fans at all. It was embarrassing. I'm afraid they'll be back for tomorrow's game, so it could get interesting.

Edit: I only mention those ladies behind us because they're not the typical Carolina Fans and I think most of the people around us knew that they were atypical. Actually, there were a few 'Nova fans that were very ugly to some Carolina fans before the game started. They got very quiet as the game progressed, however.

It's embarrassing for the rest of us that there were Heels fans treating some 'Nilla fans poorly.

 

Heels should win the game simply because they are the better team. Unfortunately that doesn't always work out that way. Still, I think if they stay on the roll they've been on they should win by 8-12 points. As far as the fans, I doubt the Heels care. One more reason to stick it to the Spartans.

 

Izzo wants to stick it to the athletic department for them putting the pressure on him or he's fired mentality they had last year. The combination of that and the solid defense Michigan State has been playing gives them the edge. 7 point Michigan State win.

 

Heels must make their free throw tomorrow night avoids stupid turnover .Stop taking the foot of the gas.For reason when ever the heels are up let say by 15+, they stop playing hard .They make stupid turnover or take bad shot.If, they can play smart for 40 Minutes.Then is no reason why this game should not be a blowout win for Heels.GO Tar Heels.

Carolina will be up and ready for this game. Hans and green will want to go out with the Championship and both will have a huge game. The defense will hold down the 3's. Carolina by 14.

True. Heard on the radio this morning that there have been somewhere around 8 rematches for the final. Of those something like 5 were won by the team that lost the first game. You never know. MSU will have the definite fan advantage, but they also lost by 30+ to Chapel Hill already this season. Talent should outweigh any fan advantage.
