8-17 at the FT line.. you can't give that many points away... plus the rebounding sucked yesterday. Terry needs to find some bizarre religion and give up basketball too, that would help the Heels a lot...

Evidently Maryland isn't "popular" enough, yet.

Just trying to single out the blame for a crappy game, really a crappy Feb. I dont really blame Frasor, that's just the point in the game when I knew Maryland was going to win.

freethrows and defense. You can't win a close one without both.

Agree. The free throw shooting didn't shock me but I thought the Tarheels had turned the corner on defense. Give the Terps credit, they took advantage of some advantages they had. Lawson got shot over a couple of times and Hansbrough could not man the paint by himself.

Err, other than sportscasters and dukey, I don't think anybody on here has talked about UNC being a lock for a #1 seed and if they have they are just wrong. UNC is a very talented team, but still young and not doing what they need to do with the talent they have. UNC is a Good team, but that's it at this point.

Dook on the other hand is an average team at best that K has been able to get more wins out of than they actually should have. Kudos to K for that, one thing for sure about his teams, they will always play D no matter what, even if the offense sucks.

2 game difference in the records may not be a huge difference but one is a tie for 1st and the other a tie for 5th so it is a definate difference.
