Carolina Cobras Cheerleader Tryouts at the COMEDY ZONE on 12/9 !!!!!

A public service announcement from TBR . . .


While at the WFNZ DOGHOUSE today before the Panthers/Bengals game, some ladies from the AFL Carolina Cobras (the team that is moving from Raleigh to here and will play at the Coliseum next year) were handing out leaflets; Tomorrow night at the COMEDY ZONE on N. College Street, they will be having tryouts for the Cheerleaders, the Snake Charmers. WFNZ's TC, from the Morning Sports Page, will be MC'ing the event. It starts at 7pm. There is a nomial entrance fee of $5, but all of that will go to charity. Me & Blaine (lec) will be out there . . . . Give me a buzz at 704-258-7553 (cell) and let me know if you might come out also. -Mark Mathis (FOX18 Weatherman and 'the edge' cohost) was MC'ing the nights festivities. Of course, he felt obliged to let lose with the f, d, & mf bombs since he wasn't on TV. I saw him down a couple of brews tonight there, so watch out and see if he is a little tipsy doing the weather & 'the edge' tonight . . .


-There were about 30 women there tonight competing for 18 slots on the SNAKE CHARMERS; They were paired in 2's and did a 1 minute dance routine. The judges tallied the score and then announced the winners at the end of the night . . .They were all winners in my book IMHO :thumbup: !!!!!


-After all of the dancers were done, some local comedian by the name of D-LO (?) came on stage and did a 15 min. routine. He was pretty funny; he said that he was on BET COMIC VIEW and some other show . . . He took over for Mark at the end of the night (9pmish) because he had to race back to the studios to get ready to do the weather tonight . . .


The place was pretty much jammed . . . Good turn out for an event I didn't find out about until yesterday at WFNZ's DOGHOUSE. Too bad I didn't have a digital camera on me to give you a look at what the ladies look like . . . Perhaps that will be my Xmas present from one of yall in a couple of weeks !!!!!!

 

I heard Red Leather was going to be featured prodominately. Did anyone get neked?

 

No one got nekked, but one of the first contestants almost lost her top while doing her thing . .. I'm sure somewhere the photos of the winners will pop up eventually and I will post them here . . .
