    The cartoon below actually was in the February 20, 2003 edition of The Daily Tar Heel. It depicts Jackie Manuel asking to get the ball to shoot from his superhero teammate. They received much on-campus flack about demeaning a member of the UNC basketball team.

    I dunno Wos - I couldn't bash them this past Fall, 'cause they sucked.

    Now, I can't bash them this Spring, 'cause they suck.

    You guys have to getter better to warrant any bashing from me.

    Wow HP49'r. Bashing a team that is ranked about 20 spots higher than your team, has a better record, better strength of schedule, and a much harder schedule(11th in NCAA). Even though the Heels are down,somebody has a serious case of Tarheel envy.

    Oh QC, to hear the Heels tell it, we've never been on the same level and we're just a bit down for this season, although we've won 6 of the last 7.

    And my dislike is well documented here, going back to how the UNC at Chapel Hill fans acted towards the 49ers at the 1977 Final Four in Atlanta against Marquette.

    Call it obsession if you like, I expected to hear it. Either you're a Carolina fan or you're not. I'm not, and nothing will ever change that after that Saturday afternoon in the spring of 1977. Tom Sorensen's column portrayed it perfectly.

    My teams have been sucking this season...so Carolina's woes have been kind of a saving grace for me. Saved what would be just a miserable season all the way around. I love seeing them so bad off! But what really blows my hair back is that I don't really see an end in sight! They will suck next year as well and for some time to come. :D

    Glad knows Bill Parcells?:confused:

    Seriously Wos - how long do you give Doh? Understood that Dean and K both had their struggles early-on. But why did the AD's keep them? What were the signs that they would be successful?

    Is Baddour bright enough to see them in Doh (if they're there)? The Heels have talent - do you give him one more class, or more? Less?
