I'm already savin money so I can afford my Beck's when I make it to the US
some day... heard it's kinda expensive across the pond...

actually not that bad in the local stores.........1-1.50 in the grocery stores but its up there in the bars!! lots of cash helps when traveling across the pond, whichever way you travel!!

whats your target date for your USA Trip??

 

You should come to where I live. Beck's is a dollar or a dollar 25 in the bars.

 

Yeah especially if you wanna make it to expensive California. Like me.

I still don't know when I'll have money for a trip. But I want to leave Germany
forever in about 9-11 years. I need to work a little bit here and then I'm able
to go to an university and I wanna get a bachelor or even a master here.
This would be to expensive in the US. And I want to have some good basics
so I won't have to think about how to afford my health care and stuff...

DAMMIT! Even this is cheaper in the US. In our bars you pay about 1.30-2.10$
for a small glas of beer. Most expensive one I ever had was a small glas of
beer for 5$ in a table dance bar... lol

 

It's not in a city like Atlanta or Charlotte. It's in Athens GA. A college town so it is extremely cheap. Had friends from Boston and Chicago come down and they couldn't believe the deals here. They said beers up there cost like 6.25 or so.
