    I'd be a bit disappointed if he signs somewhere else. Not because he's that good but because there is nothing else out there even remotely as good as this guy.

    Carlos was never coming here. Samuel is Person's story, and that may have legs, if not for that contract. Person's a good reporter, and I'm not just saying that to be nice.

    There are others that I don't see as "grinders", and it's fascinating to watch them not work.

    One year contract, wow. I wouldn't be so upset about the Panthers overspending if the rest of the league was doing it too, which is what I expected given the fast-forward free agency period and the raised cap, but instead we seem to be the only ones being retarded while everyone else is showing admirable restraint. Well, I guess you could argue that Seattle is being a little retarded too, but no other team is remotely in the Panthers' league.
