Pose the biggest challenge to our front four so far this season.

They've allowed 7 sacks in 4 games, not that many. We'll need a ton of pressure to keep Jake's accuracy down, and to prevent Boston from having enough time to burn our secondary.

I don't know why, but I'm concerned about this game.

they're a decent line. And they're big. It's a good thing their runners are banged up.

The Packers only had 4 sacks against Brett going into their game against the Panthers. Jack De Rio's Defense doubled that total last weekend. I too am concerned that this game will not be as easy as people think but not for that reason. We are not a high scoring offense but due to the injuries the Cardinals have in the backfield, they will be forced to pass all day. Arizon has been held to just 161.5 yards passing per game while averaging 129.5 yards on the ground. Boston has yet to have a breakout game as he's only had 262 on 16 attempts for an average of 16.4 yard/rct and 1 touchdown. He's no Randy Moss but than Randy Moss isn't Randy Moss this season. Can the Panthers rebound from last week's loss with its kicking game still in question?

Carolina is allowing 11.5 points a game while Arizona is scorings 21. Arizon is allowing 18.5 points a game while Carolina is scoring 19. The math says the final score could be:

    Carolina 19 - Arizona 16

That is a close game with an unproven kicker.

Davis Boston also missed practice on Wednesday with foot problems and is questionable for the game.

    I'm concerned too, but...

I also read this morning that Arizona's LT L.J. Shelton is a little banged up. He's listed as probable, but I'll take any advantage we can get. And any edge Rucker sees, he'll take advantage of I'm sure. I'm not counting on Peppers much at all, unless it's late in the game. I think Davis will handle him through the first half at least. Jenkins against thier inner three is an interesting matchup, though. Who does he square off on, Kendall?

well the fact is we lost 30-7 the last time we played. Were coming off a tough loss, so I expect our guys led by mad man Morgan to step it up another notch. These guys are focused and I doubt VERY seriously that were taking Plummer and Co. lightly. Id say we win a close one and I too sure hope the kicker gets his foot outta his A$$.

I've been saying that as well, I think it boils down to which Cardinal team shows up......or more importantly which Jake Plummer shows up.

You guys talk like the Panthers play good, and then they don't. That's the Saints IMO. They can explode one quarter, and then have a let down. You don't know if they're going to play 4 quarters or not show up for 4.

That's not the Panthers, not this year. They are a solid Defense going up against Jake Plummer. Get real.

Ask this, can they stop Lamar. No they can't, and they'll bearly have the ball.

You guys worry too much. This is almost like having a bye week.

I hope the team doesn't feel that way, Y2.

Cause that will be the only way we will lose.

I like Rucker vs Shelton at any rate. It will be interesting to see if they leave Peppers one on one vs Leonard Davis, and what happens. They finally got smart and moved him out to Tackle.

If we are angry after that loss, and want to take it out on a team, this one is as good as any. Jake the fake does poorly under pressure, and is inconsistent with his reads. Their backs are hurt, and their defensive line is small. But they aren't undertalented. They have a good middle linebacker that stuffed the Giants running game, a good rookie in Fisher, and David Boston. That's enough to beat us if we don't take care of our opportunities.

True dat. But I can be over confident because I know their not. I really think Fox has these guys focused and the more I see our defense play and the Redskins defense play, the more I think Del Rio had more to do with Baltimore's SB than Lewis did.

We just can't have those turn overs and drive killing penalties.
