Sure it is. They've added enough free agent talent, but for one reason or another, it hasn't come together. Instead of addressing their biggest weakness in the offseason, they decided to devote a huge chunk of money to James, who now has nothing to run behind. They have made moves to get better, but that has not happened. Ultimately, the head coach is responsible.

I agree that you need stability, but stability with losing? That's where they were with McGinnis, Tobin, Ryan, etc. Hell, Green has admitted in his pressers that he doesn't have any answers, and that never, ever ends well for a head coach.

Green has a proven track record and he has the pieces in place for a very good offense. They need to build the OL but they have everything else in place. It is just going to take a while to break change that losing mentality. IMHO, firing Green would guarantee them several more years of losing while keeping him gives them a shot at being good soon.

Teams that change coaches a lot tend to stay bad. Look at the Steelers, they have stuck with Cowher through the lean years and it has paid them dividends in a superbowl win.

Not really. As we've seen in New Orleans, Minnesota, and St. Louis, you can have immediate success with a new head coach. Meanwhile, sticking with a guy who is losing games guarantees nothing. The reason why teams like Pittsburgh and Denver haven't changed coaches is because those coaches have delivered success. Green has done nothing in Arizona, and doesn't deserve a free pass just because they have "talent".

Also, you have to look at the bigger picture. You have to keep your customers happy. You have to keep the season ticket holders happy. The only way to do that is by winning games. Could you imagine how many people would have been pissed if we didn't fire Seifert?

While James got a huge chunk, they still are plenty under the cap. Spending has been a huge problem for them. At least that move showed a commitment, showed an effort to change.

I cant say that they made enough moves thru FA when this is the first year they've got a legitimate RB and QB. Two of the most valuable pieces to any winning franchise IMO.

They've finally got a leader at QB the team can believe in. That alone is massive.

Now, they wont lose that with a new HC granted, Leinert will still be the guy. But the FO should believe in the guy that brought him on board to begin with.

Without Denny, probably no Fitzgerald, Rolle, Boldin or Leinert. Thats Dennys vision.
