I caught CANE on CBS tonight; Its about a Corleone type family running the family sugar business to make DOUQUE (?) Rum down in South Florida. I see where they've taken some basic story arcs from THE GODFATHER (older but sickly son is passed over to run the family business, which pisses him off and starts the revenge angle that will pop up sometime later in the series). But based on what I saw tonight, it might be pretty good. I'm willing to watch it for awhile :) . . How about y'all ? ? ? O

I liked it... You're right though, the similarities to Godfather were just screaming at me during the whole show... Kinda reminded me of Godfather meets "Scarface"... In fact, I might have enjoyed it even more if Jimmy Smits had been talking with that crazy Tony Montana accent.... :laugh4:
