    If I'm not mistaken, there were no NT texts in the Dead Sea Scrolls. Fragments of nearly all the Torah books as well as some other commentaries but no NT.

    NIV. Also use a student's study Bible that is also NIV.

    That is correct. I had forgotten about that, as it's been some years since I investigated the process of research and translation of the NIV and other versions of the Bible. The NIV's official website has an explanation of the resources they used, and how they compare to other versions located here.

    I have to admit I'm a little surprised, but pleasantly so. For some reason, I was under the impression you might be using the KJV, NKJV, or maybe the RSV. My apologies for my error. :smile:
