Actually I think he forgot the word "just" before "liberal".

You'd think no one has ever heard of no-fault divorce. Signed into law in Cali by that notorious liberal Ronald Reagan. Now in every state. Even the "red" ones - swear.

... all in the name of the Lord who teaches love, peace and salvation.

That's what saddens me most. I really can see why non-believers see all Christians as hypocrites and bigots.

I think you have that reversed. I'd say that 90% figure it's no worse than any other sin.

Let's say I decide to start a secular group. There are 10 "rules" for joining this group, several have to do with our priorities(loving our families, each other, group leader..etc.) one rules says we cannot have green hair. Another rule is you must eat fried chicken on Sunday. Everybody who joins the group agrees in principal to these rules and tries to abide by them, not always succeeding, but trying. Not everybody likes fried chicken, but accept that it was one of the rules. Even those with green hair tendencies try to abide by the rules, sometimes dying their hair during the week, but washing it out by group meeting time. Then they notice some one else in the group has green high-lights and they decide the group should accept them the way they are because one of the 10 rules was acceptance. Even though they knew joining the group, green hair was not acceptable. They want to change the rule to make green hair now o.k.

What I was trying to say, obviously not very well is that a non-religious group can make rules for joining like say a fraternity and you agree to abide by those rules when you join, the group shouldn't change the rules, just because you don't agree.

It's not a church, and fried chicken is just a metaphor.
