Can Southern Cal lose ?

    It seems we had this coversation last year but it looks like the Trojans are unbeatable this year. They destroyed Virginia (no great acomplishment) and took Ohio State to the woodshed. I don't think they will screw up and lose to a team like Stanford this year. I don't like them but they were clearly the best team last year and to this point it's even more certain this season. At least it won't be Ohio State that gets their asses beat in the moronic championship game staged by the BCS. Whomever they play in the title game gets smoked....Fla, Oklahoma, Missouri, Georgia, LSU, it just won't matter.

    What I find funny is that Wise One basically states that he knows who the best team is and then disparages the BCS system because it purports to do the same.

    The only team that can beat USC is USC. I can't see them losing a game unless they just basically blow it themselves. Of course that's happened the last couple of years...

    Please, they beat the snot out of OSU. All that means is they could be a top tier SEC school.

    Yes, they can be beat. They tend to lose to a much inferior opponent every now and then. Also, never discount an injury.

    Please, they beat any team in the SEC by 4 touchdowns or more. LSU, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, take your pick.

    They'd finish no better than third in the ACC Coastal division. Maybe, and that's a big maybe, they'd finish second in the Atlantic division.
