    The new found cap money makes Pepper's situation MUCH less dire. It seems like we will have enough cap room to let him play next year without an extension. If he has a great season we always have the option of placing the franchise tag on him (average of the top 3 players), which would be cheaper than making him the highest paid defender in the game. If he has another sub par season, his asking price has to come down or we let him walk.
