Just a few notes I gathered today.

    1) Rucker wasn't at the afternoon practice.

    2) Witherspoon was taped to the goal post and watered down after practice..

    3) Gilbert was back in action and w/ the second team.

    4) Weinke threw two interceptions in the endzone. One to Jenkins who really stood out today. He was back in the nickle slot w/ Vinson being out.

    5) Smith and Philyaw were deep on KO returns today. Byrd and Bright were the second return group.

    6) Brown didn't return any kicks and Montgomery was third string HB today. Look for Brown to be cut now.

    7) Cordell Taylor also got some time in the nickle and dime package w/ the first group today.

    8) Most of practice was spent working on two minute drill. Defense dominated the whole day.

    9) Peete and Fasani split time w/ second team, while Foster and Smith split time w/ the first. Smith still got more carries w/ first and Foster picked up some w/ second.

    10) Cooper took a shot to the nuts on an overthrow to Muhammad on the sideline. Gave everyone a good laugh.

    11) On a personal note, I finally got Peppers autograph!!!

you may want to delete #10 before CGF sees it. she -- like his nuts -- will be crushed. :)

worst weinke interception i ever saw was to dan morgan in the endzone against the hurricanes. weinke's not a great 3rd-and-goal passer. well, the calls weren't that great for him -- not like miami's always are.

  3. Ok I did get a good laugh out of that...but what is this? Pick on CGF???

funniest part was that mike minter saw the pass coming to the sideline and when he tried to catch it, all he did was deflect it and Coop dropped to his knees. Coop kept blaming it on Minter.
