    story here

Apparently the Clippers were the only team left with cap space to make a run at Okafor, that space is now gone with the addition of Camby. So this gives the Bobcats a chance to figure out what they want to do contract-wise with Okafor.

Camby to the Clippers for the option to trade 2nd round picks in 2010.

"We felt like we needed to shake things up and do something a little bit radical to be able to create flexibility going forward," Nuggets vice president of player personnel Rex Chapman said in a conference call.

Denver also got a $10 million trade exception, I think. In any case, it will be interesting if Okafor takes the qualifying offer to then become unrestricted next year or just settles for a long-term contract now. I suspect that he'll take the one year offer.

Probably...if he does, that confirms that he really doesn't want to be in Charlotte (some had thought that turning down the 12 million dollar contract was an indictment of Sam Vincent at the time).
