August 9th - Amos' - I suggest you check it out at least.

 

I thought goth was a highschool fad from the 90's.

 

Some people have taken it on as a lifestlyle. I don't understand it, but then again, I don't get dog owners or lesbians either so who am I to judge?

 

I happened to be at the Gin Mill drinking Miller Lite that evening. I can't begin to tell you the crazy shit I saw walk past the windown night on their way to Amos'. It was almost worth going to the show to see that many chics dressed in see through dresses or nothing but a thong and tape on their nipples.

 

Those weren't chics. I can't help but laugh when I see these people. They try to look all menacing and dark but the only places I seen them are Borders and Barnes & Noble in highschool study goups. It reminds me of that SNL skit with Rob Lowe where they are trying to make this dark witchcraft movie but they are in Central Park and everyone behind them is throwing frisbee and having picnics. They sit in their basement and an older brother and friends keep coming down and making fun of them and threatening to kick their ass.

 

Dude, they were chics, I even went over and stood outside the Amos' door and looked at quite a few.

 

You really are never going to learn are you?

 

There are a few out there that are seriously into the whole witchcraft thing. but mostly, they're hot chicks in next to nothing stroked on X and looking for a good time. If you weren't so cynical you could get some of that good time.
