They are more of an offensive team, though they look like they have a couple of NFL players on D. Tedford's got them going in the right direction.

I'm a little worried about the recievers, Taylor was able to get downfield down the seams or on a cross a few times, but he's more of a quick, darty, slot guy that a downfield threat. I was hoping to see more from Briscoe, who is a bigger target, but he looked tenative.

Otherwise, the line protected well, Ainge was accurate despite the injury, and we ran well. Perhaps the injury was part of the reason we didn't take a lot of deep shots, he did float a couple of the deep ones instead of zinging them. We will be able to score points, though. 31 points by the O should be enough.

Of course, we scored points last year. Offense wasn't the problem. Our defensive line play hasn't been good, and we have a lot of inexperience on the back end. Not a good combo.

The offense looked good, but I would hate to be in the defensive meetings next week. Go UT

Bama is at least down to 6th or 7th in the SEC pecking order right now. Behind UF, LSU, AU, UGA, Tenn.
