The Naga Viper will soon be named the hottest chili in the world.

The Naga Viper, a cross between three of the hottest exiting varieties, is so hot that it can strip paint. Fowler, who runs the Chili Pepper Company in Cumbria, England, created the new species, reports the New York Daily News.

"It numbs your tongue, then burns all the way down," Fowler told the newspaper.

"It can last an hour, and you just don't want to talk to anyone or do anything," he added.

While the popular jalapeno comes in at just 2,500-5,000 on the Scoville scale, which measures hotness levels, the Naga Viper

measured a whopping 1,359,000.

It beat out the previous world record holder, the Indian Bhut Jolokia (Ghost Pepper), which measured at 1,001,304

 

It's best to wear a hazmat suit around that shit.

The hottest pepper I ever experienced was cayenne(probably Carolina). Damned near sunk my boat.
