    It's a dairy product, but will anything bad really happen if I leave it out of the fridge? It's about impossible to put that shit on toast cold.

    nothing bad will happen to it as long as its covered and used in a week or so. i keep mine out.

    i've kept mine out and covered for weeks at a time, it never seemed to mold.

    butter can go bad and it can actually mold in the warm tempertures.

    i dont understand how one stick could last weeks...??? :thud: it also works well as a lube if you're in a pinch :xyzthumbs

    It will last a while at room temperature, but my suggestion would be to buy margarine or whipped butter and keep it in the fridge.
