    Cowher i'd say is a long shot. Like most of the names listed above. If Cowher did leave PIT I think he's take a year or so off

    As an outsider, I recommend staying FAR away from any defensive gurus. The Heels haven't had much success with the last two defensive guys hired as head coaches. :newsmile41:

    I still can't figure why everyone thinks Rodriguez would rather be at UNC than WVa. Hell, he's got a Top 5 team up there.

    I wonder if this hire will be like Sidney Lowe...

    All the State fans ripping Heels fans for even thinking of going after the best coaches out there.... then UNC not getting their top 3 choices and falling on their face like Lee Fowler did.


    Or will Baddour puss out and go for a no name coach so he won't get egg on his face?

    Regardless, I love to watch the hypocracy of both fan bases.

    I can certainly understand the reasoning by at least approaching him about it. He can only say 'no'. But why everyone thinks he'd quit that job in a second to take the UNC job is beyond me.
