I think he's bought himself another year. Not sure he's the man for the job but they've played just well enough this season to make it look like they have improved <and they have in some ways>. But isn't that defense the worst you've ever seen?

unc is playing well. Good enough to win and be competetive. just need a few breaks. certainly not the same team that started the year.

I think they still have to beat Dook to save his job, and possibly Wake. He's had 4 years now to make his mark, and to barely qualify for a shitty bowl is not getting it done IMO. They are certainly improved, but they have a ways to go to be a good team. And that victory against Miami isn't looking as stout as it was at the time now...

Why doesn't the Miami victory look as good? They beat Miami and then followed up with a close loss against the Conference leader Va. Tech. I think that looks pretty damn good. The Defense needs improvement still, but to me they look MUCh better than years past.

I think the reference was due to the fact that Clemson just beat them as well, and I must admit that took some of the glory away for me as well.

At this point we are better than last year, but with that said, I think he needs to beat dook, play WF close and be willing to make defensive changes in order to keep his job. I don't know if its him running the def, the def coach or what, but if their defense were just average we would have at least 2 more wins to this point.

I am used to seeing UNC with a good defense and questionable offense, just pains me to see teams march all over this D. But there is some promise there with young talent, and with the right coaching I think they would be better.

I'm more concerned that next year Durant won't be there to bail their asses out sometimes and because of it the offense takes a step back and the defense plays about the same. That's a sad sad thought.

Not to mention they play the same rediculously hard schedule except you can take off cream puff William & Mary and add on Wisconsin.

The offense will struggle next year without Durant so the defense will have to get better. Heels will be lucky to go 5-6 or 6-5 again.

Why the fuck does UNC do this to themselves? I realize the conference schedule is what it is, but damn, Wisconsin? How bout Furman or Guilford College or somebody? Fuck, maybe GTCC can put together a squad and take on the heels.
