    If you were building a franchise from scratch, and it came down to Troy Glaus and Eric Chavez as your 3rd baseman, who would you choose and why?

    Chavez...better work ethic. His salary is half that of Glaus, better batting average, and more homeruns, and hes only 29.

    chavez. glaus has battled injuries the last few years. chavez is the best fielding 3rd baseman there is.
