Too bad, I would have liked to have seen it go seven. Sorry Grid, Alfredson kicked the Penguins asses too.
I don't want Detroit to win the cup, but I kinda want them to go to the finals so I can have a team to root against. If it's Ottawa-Ducks it won't matter much.

    right there with ya, playa.

Sorry Grid. Don't know why the Sabres didn't get things done--I thought they were the class of the East all season long.

plain and simple: the sens were playing the best hockey in the league from about mid-season on. they definitely peaked at the right time. sabres had way to many giveaways (Spacek and Kalinen were the biggest villains) and their power play was virtually non-existent. Ottawa had a lot to do with it.

I still think the SC is the hardest prize to win in sports.

Ottawa has played great but I'm thinking Aneheim in 5. Not sure who to root for, I may go with Ottawa b/c they are Canadian like the Godfather was saying, but I've been pretty impressed with Selanne the past couple years. He hasn't gotten one, right? I just hate I'm going to have to keep hearing people say, "Getting Jiggy with it".
