    over the counter diet pills

how dumb is that? From the AP:

The suspension will cost him $250,000 to $300,000 in salary and incentives, according to Buckner's agent, George Mavrikes.

Mavrikes said Buckner took a diet pill before training camp with an ingredient that's on the league's list of banned substances.

``It was all-organic, all-natural, and that's where you get into trouble,'' Mavrikes said. ``He didn't really think that by taking a diet pill it would be banned, because it was not a performance enhancer.

``He just wanted to lose a little weight before camp, but unfortunately, the NFL treats diet pills the same as steroids.''

    Man. What a bullshit rule.

Well, we can work on our depth. We may have to put Towns on IR. Jeez.

So that leaves 2 roster spots, too.

    speaking of roster spots

Here's what Fox said about any roster moves:

On possible roster moves: We still have one (open roster spot) for sure, possibly two. Those are things we will address this week. More than likely, we would not sign another defensive tackle.

I guess they're happy with the depth at DT. I'm not sure I am.

I also think after reading what he said it may be possible for Towns to end up on the IR. I'll bet that just about finishes him as a Panther.

I also read on the Panther's site that Steve Smith tweaked his shoulder today. Depending on how bad it is that may mean a WR.

Burton starting? That sucks. Guess now I know why we signed a 6th DT when Gilbert went down.
