I figured this deserved a thread.

    Here's mine:

    LB:
We're suddenly deep. Towns, Minor, and Allen seem to be in a precarious position.
    WR:
Baker, Black, Harris, Jeffers. I wouldn't be surprised if we cut all of them - maybe Jeffers PUP.
    RB:
Foster and Bates going down made us thin. Brown or Montomery likely go, with Johnson on Practice Squad, or cut. Is Brown eleigible for Practice Squad? I think so.
    CB:
Brad Franklin maybe practice squad, Cordell Taylor, DeRon Jenkins.
    DE:
    Milem, Rasmussen, Callens
Al Wallace really looked good this preseason.
    DT:
Terrance Simmons. Intertesting - It might be nice to see Giblet get axed in favor of this guy. But he won't.
    OL:
Leander Jordan (G), Jay Humphrey(T), TJ Washington (T). I guess Jordan ain't gonna pan out. Nesbit's injury might stretch us enough to give him more time. Humphrey? I never saw him play. I think Williams is in. Our coaches sure love Tuten. Washington was hurt, wasn't he?
    S:
Deke Cooper. I'd say Richardson stays. You never know, though.
    TE:
We might keep all 4. I say we do.

Jaret Holmes and Mike Watkins will likely go by-by.

7 of the above guys get to have a roster spot, unless we make some waiver claims. Here's who I think might escape the axe:

    Roster:
Minor, Allen, Washington, Brown, Montgomery, D Cooper, Tim Baker

    Practice Squad:
    Franklin, Johnson

    GONERS:
Towns, Holmes, Watkins, Jordan, Humphrey, Simmons, Milem(possible PUP) , Rasmussen, Callens, Taylor, DeRon Jenkins, Black, Harris.

    PUP:
    Jeffers

Milem and Washington might also be eligible for PUP. Since we'll likely snatch a few off of waivers, This list is totally insignificant, and is really a huge waste of time.

yeah, gotta choose between the two for a MLB and then decide if we can spare a roster spot for Minor, who's been one of our best special teamers.

    >>RB:
Foster and Bates going down made us thin. Brown or Montomery likely go, with Johnson on Practice Squad, or cut. Is Brown eleigible for Practice Squad? I think so.

That gives us three backs, five overall. Sure the two FBs are experienced at RB, and that might do it, but...just kinda thin still.

Interesting to see if Rasmussen can make it as the 9th DL. Basically just depens on whether they want a 9th.

Washington wasn't really that hurt, but he did play like buttcrack. Got some time at both left and right tackle and did OK first game, not good enough second. Jordan might stick as the 4th guard - he's cheap and young. Yeah, Tuten stays now, but next year he's making $1 mil and that's too damned much. Williams stays. That's 9, and banking on the idea that we can be versatile. Humphrey might stay with the organization. Johnson should be PS as well.

    >> Humphrey? I never saw him play.

I keyed on him a couple of times in the Dallas game and he looked good to me. But I read on another board that folks were running around him with ease. He's a TX boy so I'm rooting for him. Can't be too good if he's fighting for a backup position behind our suckass starters.

I'm in favor of cutting Gilbert. He's a waste. We don't need to continue feeding his fat ass. It's time for him to become just a really bad memory.
