    I really would like to know what the academy has against Scorcese....he has been robbed on soooo many levels soooo many times. BSBSBS:teeth:

    I agree - it's the fifth time he's lost out. I was shocked that such a talented man has missed out over so many years of great films. Then again, Alfred Hitchcock never received one either. Sometimes, the Academy has it's head up it's arse :mad:.

    I have not seen either of those movies but Eastwood is a great director. He was quoted as saying "there is nothing like a good piece of hickory" after he won.
