    what? he hit him because the nats are owning the phillies and the NL east. big time pussy move by hamels.

    hamels had no qualms admitting after the game he his harper on purpose, and harper had no problem with it, praising hamels as a pitcher. I'd say hamels is the classless turd in this equation, not harper.

    Then Zimmermann hit Hamels in the 3rd for a little payback. That's ole school baseball if you ask me. Tuff luck on Werth breaking his wrist in the game.

    ummm...ok. but what exactly did Harper do to "mock" big league pitchers? he's hitting the shit out of them and taking walks (stealing home too). other than that, where's the disrespect?

    Yeah, Hamels is a fucking pussy. Rizzo is right that no one has ever thought of Hamels being "old school." He's a bitch who was just hoping to draw a reaction from Harper and maybe get him out of the game. Bryce has embarrassed himself at times in his past, but I've been pleasantly surprised at how well he's conducted himself as a pro.
