Explorer has been hosed on my CPU for a while. I was always getting errors with it and having to restart my cpu. So, I deleted it the other day, and felt dern' tootin' good about it. I've been using Opera ever since, and I like it a lot. It takes some getting used to since we are all used to IE, but It's great to be able to open new windows without stopping the proxy and refreshing it. I reccomend everyone say "Fuck IE." It's a whole new world.

Got no problems with IE. Never have. Must be users errors or something.

i've been having IE issues as well. Something will happen and IE wants to generate an error report. Thought that if I upgraded IE that it would solve the problem, but it hasn't.

    What is opera?

Opera is a browser, just like IE, but much better. Trust me, as easy as IE is, it's hard to have a user error. I'm not a genius, but if IE constantly gives you errors and freezes your cpu(which is does with no other program,) I'd hate to say it was user error.
William J, it has something to do with Lycos. I'll have to see if I can find where I got it again. I'll get on that when I get back to the house. It sucks, at work, I have to use explorer.

It's never a user error. trust me, i would know. ;)

How long have you been using Opera?

And what kind of problems were you having besides the freezing up issues?

The problems i have had are just plain strange and bizarre. Every once in awhile i'll click on a specific thread in TBR and my IE will completely close down. I actually tried opening the thread 6 different times with the same results.

And just last night i clicked on a post and IE opened up like 50 times, if not more. I had just had to shut down IE.

I honestly don't know if it is an IE problem. It could be some virus that i haven't detected, but who knows?
