    as a movie, I've heard it's okay. As the gay dramatic epic that so many were hoping for, it was underwhelming.

    I saw it Friday and really liked it. I think it's definitely worthy of a nomination. The Oscar often goes to long epic type movies which this movie wasn't. Heath Ledger was amazing and should be a lock for best actor.

    by the way ... that regal twin cinema where 'brokeback' is playing should carry a disclaimer warning of the lack of parking.. i've never been to a movie theatre without a parking lot before
