There's been some speculation that Griese's time may be up in Denver... would we want him here in Carolina?

It's certainly a very interesting scenario.

Handle with care. He's apparently got a drinkin' issue. I'd think we'd be gunshy b/c of Collins.

I see the Raiders snagging him.

I'd take him but the AFC west has a long history of swapping players. It'd be hard to get him here but hell yeah I'd do it.

    yay! noooooo...

ok, this is just rumor here...hearsay, if you will...

i heard from a reliable source that griese is not well liked by his team because he has an attitude problem. his team dogs him like you wouldnt believe. the press is easy on this guy.

did you see the last game vs oakland? good god, he was caught on camera looking happy when buerline threw an interception!wtf?

i wouldnt if i were you.

then again he might pan out good with the cats. watch him play, he plays scared. if he goes to oakland, it will be out of spite...thing is, why would oakland want him?

I hear ya lex.....but damn. He'd be the best QB the Panthers would ever have had (black or white :D ), he still has more upside than any available QB (outside the draft) and his problems are small potatos in comparison to the problem players the Panthers have had. He's like a goody2shoes next to the bad boys in the Queen City.

I'd take him, and I'd pay him.

I just can't see Shanny giving up on him though. He sure can play some football.

About the laughing at Bline though, we've all done that, but maybe there's an inside joke we don't know about.

I wouldn't pay him, but I'd sign him to a cap friendly deal, little bonus, and see how he pans out in camp.

He's a reject, a second. He's been a consistent problem for 2 years. No way do I pay full price.

no way i pay half price -- haven't seen him play much but if he's smiling when his teammate throws an INT, then i don't want him. myself, i never saw anything funny about B'lines INTs ... except that you could count on them when he has 1st and goal.
