According to Penner's show. I didn't hear any contract details. Great news though with the loss of Hart. He should be a great backup/mentor for Felton. Good job Bobcats.

not sad to lose Hart at all

glad Knight resigned....dont be surprised if he starts the season though...heard Bernie talking about it. he wants to bring Felton along a little slower because PG in the NBA is to tough. he will probably finish the season a starter though. Remember Baron came off the bench his first year....

Yeah I've got no problem with Knight starting. However, I hope Felton gets more time than Baron did his first year. Remember, that Hornets team was a 50 win team with an established back court of Wesley/Phills. There was a reason why Baron was taken along so slowly, because we were in a playoff race. I doubt the Cats will be in that position this year so it's a perfect time for him to play.

Baron didn't get much time at all as a rookie, I'd be disappointed if Felton didn't easily pass his minutes.

Sounds good to me. Felton will have to work hard to beat him out.

I believe I've read somewhere that Felton would be starting from the beginning. Even if Knight resigned. Bernie wanted him to get his lumps.

They may give the job to Felton but he will not be playing better than Knight for sometime I suspect.

Yep, probably won't until Knight misses the first of his 40 games this year.

If Knight has another year like last year, I don't know that I want Felton starting this year, but Felton is the better scorer, but then again Thelt refuses to recognize that Felton could be a good player.

oh he will get a lot of playing time. Bernie said how Felton is perfect off the bench because he plays 100 mph. a tempo changer..Knight was what, 2nd in assists last year in the league. it was painfully obvious when he didnt play last year.
