    Why would his teammates have given up on him already? He has barely played and only been on the team less than a year. Surely they know a rookie is not going to be the same as a guy like Favre.....

    If I am the Packers I take Ferguson should he fall but if not I take Hawk. I give Rodgers a chance to play this coming season. If he fails miserably it is not a big deal since this is a rebuilding year for them anyway. If you drop him after one season atleast you have someone to be the buffer between Favre and the next guy. You get to draft high again next year. I am not a big fan of drafting QBs real high anyway. The bust rate is just too high.
